Our Mission:
To help poor and abandoned Nicaraguan youth become healthy and self-sufficient by providing a pathway out of extreme poverty.

Tackling one project at a time:
As a smaller charity the Nicaraguan Children’s Friendship Committee has the flexibility to be project specific. Since 2003 we have been funding the smaller projects that are often overlooked by the larger international charities working in Nicaragua. Through these smaller projects we are able to reach out, provide hands on attention and immediately impact the lives of needy children.

Our current projects include:
Scholarships for Graduates of Casa Jacinta, home for abandoned youth

Prescolar Abuelita Carmen - School serving two rural, extremely poor communities

Mujeres de Sutyaba Carpentry Apprenticeship Program for high risk youth and hearing impaired students.

Las Esperanzas - a vocational & social services program for impoverished, adolescent girls.
